Thanks Vernon Goddard, I’m glad the frustration comes through — and the respite! I wrote that piece off the cuff on Facebook when a friend of mine responded to another line in my writing

I don’t need to know what has happened in the world, as long as I know what’s going on.

The sentiment has been bubbling away for quite some time, not necessarily about the fake news itself, but just the onslaught of needless ‘information’ from the 24 hour news cycle.

I’m constantly asking myself what happened to Greece(!) which actually was yester-year. Yesterday was Brexit, today it’s Trump, tomorrow it’ll be Italy (or Netherlands, or France).

And then I ask myself — is it impacting your life today? And if the answer is no, I move on!

Have a great weekend and thanks for engaging!
