Sobia Q I echo your argument, the cult of ‘me’ which social media gave birth to and, let’s face it, we all fuelled by our clicks, likes and double taps is a little out of control. There isn’t depth, there is often little worth. But with all of that said, as we write here and on other platforms, we are exposing ourselves to the world, not our facsimile but our inner reality. I often debate with myself whether I write for me, or to impress. Either way my writing is probably a little less rough around the edges than my picture would be!
